Yes, I am a therapist in a separate realm of my life. But no, this is not therapy. 

This is coaching, which is different. In therapy, you receive personalized medical treatment; thus, privacy protection and various other safeguards apply. With coaching, you will be part of a group of other parents and will be sharing your experiences while receiving training and education. Your child and family will not be receiving individual treatment from me.

Yes, absolutely. My courses are designed as online parenting classes and are a great accompaniment to 1:1 or group therapy. 

Therapy is more reactive — you deal with what comes up each week, while my courses help you go deeper into a specific topic and design proactive solutions to common parenting challenges. 

We take you through an organized, linear process to help you look into other areas where your child might need your help, alongside whatever they are working on in therapy.

the courses can also elevate the quality of care you receive from your therapist by helping you ask more clear and detailed questions about the issues you’re dealing with.

Unfortunately, no. You need immediate assistance from medical providers in your local area. Your child needs to be assessed for safety by a medical professional, and a treatment plan needs to be created immediately. Call your pediatrician first if you aren’t sure where to start.

Since our courses are not medical treatment and we are not assessing anyone’s child in any way, they do not fulfill the need that your child has.
